Remarks. Martens (1857: 210) listed striata Cuvier as among the Ampullariidae of the Berlin Museum but indicated that it was in fact Helicina striata Lamarck. Helicinidae ; listed as a valid species in Helicina by Dall & Simpson (1901: 447, 508) and subsequently placed in Alcadia Gray (e.g. Baker 1940: 71; Thompson & Deisler 1980: 3).
