Type material.
Holotype: ♂ (IZCAS), China, Hainan Province, Wuzhishan County, Wuzhi Mountain, leaf litter, 18.8167N, 109.6500E, Y. Song leg. Examined.
Diagnosis.
Pinelema spina comb. nov. resembles P. bella comb. nov. but can be distinguished by the following: the smaller ratio of the bulbal length/width (1.45, Fig. 3A View Figure 3 ) (vs. 1.75); the obtuse-angled ventral bend between the embolus and bulb (Fig. 3A View Figure 3 ) (vs. right-angled), the sharp tip of the embolus (Fig. 3A View Figure 3 ) (vs. blunt).
