Family Ringiculidae Philippi, 1853 View in CoL Ringiculidae gen. et sp. indet.
Fig. 20O View Fig .
Material.— One specimen from block I ( NRM Mo 192642: H = 6.2 mm, W = 5.2 mm). Upper Miocene of the “shale quarry” within the Northern Cement Corporation quarry in Pangasinan province, Luzon, Philippines .
Remarks.—This small globular shell with about two whorls preserved shows 17 fine spiral incisions on the last whorl and three folds on the parietal and columellar lip, suggesting affinities to Ringicula . Helwerda (2015) reported numerous species of Ringicula from Plio-Pleistocene strata in the Philippines, but the poor preservation of the present specimen does not allow a more detailed comparison.
