FEMALE (Specimens measured – South Africa: 10).
Dorsum – Anterior half of dorsal shield oval and posterior half, rectangular. Shield, 299385 long and 170246 wide, smooth with a few striae anterolaterally. Setae: j1 2531, j3 1326, j4 79, j5 79, j6 914, J2 914, J5 6, z2 917, z4 917, z5 79, Z1 914, Z4 914, Z5 5054, s4 1631 S2 914, S4 915, S5 915, r3 1325, R1 79. Dorsal setae smooth except Z5 which are serrated.
Peritreme – Reaching level of setae j3.
Venter – All ventral shields are smooth. Distances between ST1ST3 5052, ST2ST2 6063 and ST5ST5 6872. Two pairs of metapodal shields. Ventrianal shield 86111 long, 44 wide at ZV2 level and 6972 at anus level.
Chelicera – Movable digit 25 long, with 1 tooth; fixed digit 28 long, with 7 teeth.
Spermatheca – Calyx 13 long with atrium nestled in a Ushaped bend of one side of calyx.
Legs – Macrosetae with hyaline knobs distally: SgeIII 25, Sge IV 3439, Sti IV 2331, StIV 4162; chaetotaxy of genu II 22/0, 2/01, genu III 12/1,2/01.
MALE (Specimens measured – South Africa: 6).
Dorsum – Dorsal shield 249255 long. Setae j1 2225, j3 16, j4 69, j5 79, j6 914, J2 914, J5 6, z2 1113, z4 1113, z5 79, Z1 914, Z4 914, Z5 4146, s4 1619, S2 913, S4 913, S5 916, r3 16, R1 9.
Peritreme – Reaching level of setae z2.
Venter – Ventrianal shield 8597 long and 139 wide at anterior corners.
Chelicera – Shaft of spermatodactyl 25 long, mushroomlike distally.
Legs – SgeIII 1922, SgeIV 2833, StiIV 2125, StIV 3245.
