V e r b r e i t u n g: ImGrossteil von New Mexico, bis ins nordwestliche Texas und in weiten Teilen Ost-Arizonas ; ältere Fundmeldungen liegen aus Utah vor ( Zion National Park ; GREGG 1940 /Aufsammlung von 1930) .

H a b i t a t e: In der Bodenstreu von Juniperus-, Pinus monophylla- und Eichenwäldern, an Felsen; soweit bekannt, bis etwa 2.400 m Seehöhe.
