On decaying bark of shrubs and trees.
Distribution.
Africa (Cameroon), Americas (Costa Rica), Asia (China, Indonesia), possibly pantropical.
Notes.
This is a relatively common species and recorded as Neonectria lucida by Guu et al. (2007) from Taiwan Province.
