Material examined. Vietnam: Bà R ịa-Vũng Tàu (Xuyên M ộc, Hòa Tân)— Maxomys surifer (October 2011, 18 larvae), Tây Ninh ( Tân Biên district , Tân Bình)— Rattus type IV (October 2011, 1 larva) .
Distribution. Burma, Ceylon, Borneo, Indonesia (Java), Malaysia, Papua New Guinea, Thailand, Vietnam: Nghệ An (Phủ Quỳ)— Niviventer tenaster (= R. niviventer lotipes ), Rattus tanezumi (= R. flavipectus , R. f. molliculus), Quảng Trị (Vĩnh Linh)— Rattus exulans (Peale) (= R. r. concolor ), Rattus losea (= R. r. exiguous ), Rattus tanezumi (=R. f. molliculus, R. r. sladeni ) ( Schluger et al. 1960b; Grochovskaja 1967); Cao Bằng (Ba Bể), Kon Tum, Lâm Đồng (Bảo Lộc)— Tupaia belangeri (= Tupaia glis ), Rattus niviventer , Maxomys moi (= Rattus alticola ) ( Maxomys alticola (Thomas) is endemic species in North Borneo, in Vietnam Maxomys moi inhabits mountainous regions) ( Chau et al. 2007; Stekolnikov 2021). Hosts with no locality indicated: Rattus vinhlinh (?), Rattus rattus (= R. r. wrougthoni ), Rattus tanezumi (= R. r. khyensis , R. r. tikos ) ( Schluger et al. 1960b; Grochovskaja 1967)
Remarks. Examined speciemens differ from the description of W. (W.) disparunguis ( Vercammen-Grandjean 1971) by the number of setae on legs coxa (fCx = 1-1-1 vs. 1-1-3).
