Distribution. Burma, China, India, Philippines, Thailand ( Stekolnikov 2021), Vietnam: Quảng Ninh (Hạ Long = Hon Gai)— Rattus tanezumi (= R. r. tikos ) ( Schluger et al. 1960c), Quảng Ninh (Hà Lâm)— Rattus tanezumi (= R. r. sladeni ) ( Grochovskaja 1967); Hòa Bình (Kim Bôi, February 1972), Kon Tum (Đắc Đú, Sa Thẫy, December 1977), Đắk Lắk (Krông Pắc, December 1977) ( Chau et al. 2007; Stekolnikov 2021). Hosts with no locality indicated: Macaca mulatta, Chrotogale owstoni (Thomas), Dremomys pernyi , Callosciurus erythraeus (Pallas) , Niviventer cremoniventer (= R. cremoniventer ), Leopoldamys edwardsi (= R. edwardsi ), Rattus andamanensis (= R. koratensis ) ( Chau et al. 2007).
