Four specimens, collected in southern Cameroon, field numbers MB 378–381, as Hyperolius tuberculatus ( Bell et al. 2017) . The uncorrected p- distances from other clades were 1.9–5.5% ( Table 2 View TABLE 2 ). Presently this species is only known from a single locality about 25 km inland from Campo, near Ekout Mintoum, southern Cameroon ( Table 3 View TABLE 3 ) (2.3972°N, 10.0452°E) ( Fig. 8C View FIGURE 8 ). It is sympatric with H. tuberculatus .

The colour pattern and advertisement call are unknown. The voucher specimens could not be located during the preparation of this report. They are presumably still to be deposited in the Zoological Research Museum Alexander Koenig, along with other material of H. tuberculatus from the same expedition.
