Distribution in Bulgaria: Sofia [1]; Elhovo [2]; Barzia (Montana Region) [3].

Lice of Colpocephalum identified to the generic level only were reported from Acrocephalus palustris (Bechstein) , Falco naumanni Fleischer , Gallinula chloropus (L.), Phylloscopus sibilatrix (Bechstein) , P. trochilus (L.), Pyrrhocorax graculus (L.) and Sylvia communis Latham (see Touleshkov, 1960b, 1961a, 1964a).
