Hosts: Melanitta fusca (L.) [1]; Mergus serrator L. [1].
Distribution in Bulgaria: Samokov Region, Kubratovo (Sofia Region) [1].
Lice of Anaticola identified to the generic level only were reported from Aythya ferina (L.), A. nyroca (Guldenstadt) and Tachybaptus ruficollis (Pallas) (see Touleshkov, 1962, 1964a).
