Distribution in Bulgaria: Petrich, Burgas, Maslen Nos Cape [1]; Grudovo (Burgas Region) [2]; Asenovgrad, Harmanli [3]; Belogradchik, Karlovo, Gabrovo, Tvarditsa, Botevgrad, Godech, Teteven [4].
Remarks: Fringilla montifringilla L. is known as host of Brueelia glizi Balát, 1955 . The lice collected from this host and identified as B. cyclothorax by Touleshkov (1961a) have not been found and their identification remains questionable.
