Distribution in Bulgaria: Gotse Delchev [1]; Belogradchik, Klisura (Sofia Region), Godech, Shipka (Stara Zagora Region) [2].
Lice of Brueelia identified to the generic level only were reported from Corvus frugilegus L., Emberiza hortulana L.*, Ficedula albicollis (Temminck) , Fringilla coelebs L., Lanius collurio L., Lullula arborea (L.), Motacilla alba L.*, Muscicapa striata (Pallas) *, Phylloscopus collybitus (Vieillot) *, P. trochilus (L.)*, Pica pica (L.), Saxicola torquata (L.)*, Turdus merula L. and T. philomelos Brehm (see Balát, 1958; Touleshkov, 1960b, 1961a, 1962, 1964a, 1974).
