Reports: [1] Touleshkov (1974). Hosts: Parus ater L. [1]. Distribution in Bulgaria: Kazanlak [1]. Remarks: The lice collected from Parus ater L. were identified by Touleshkov (1974) as Philopterus pallescens (Denny, 1842) . I revised his material and identified it as Philopterus peripariphilus (Mey,
1988).
