Distribution in Bulgaria: Gotse Delchev [1]; Asenovgrad, Stara Zagora, Harmanli, Svilengrad [2].
In two faunistic publications, Touleshkov (1962, 1964a) mentioned “ Brueelia beroica Tuleschkov ” and “ Picicola berojica Tuleshkov ” on Picus viridis from several localities in South Bulgaria. However, the description of this species has not been found in the literature. Therefore, it has to be considered nomen nudum.
