Fig. 3 View FIGURE 3

Description. Male Body small and thin. Head hypognathous. Fastigium verticis protruding forward, apex rounded, with a longitudinal broad and shallow sulcus, ventral surface convex. Eyes globular, protruding forward. Apical segment of maxillary palpus slightly shorter than subapical one, apical area inflated, apex rounded.

Pronotum with anterior margin straight, posterior margin rounded; lateral lobe with posterior margin tapering; humeral sinus indistinct. Thoracic auditory spiracle small, exposed, pyriform.

All femora without spines on ventral surfaces. Fore coxa with one spine; fore tibia with 4 spines on both sides of ventral surface respectively; tibial tympana open on both sides, long oval. Genicular lobes with apices obtuse; hind tibia with 24–27 spines on inner and outer sides of dorsal surface, a pair of dorsal apical spurs and ventral apical ones.

Tegmen short, comparatively broad, reaching the middle of seventh abdominal tergite, not reaching posterior margin of tenth abdominal tergite; apex rounded. Hind wing shorter than tegmen, not exposed.

Tenth abdominal tergite broad and short, posterior margin lightly concave. Cercus long, lightly compressed, base slightly broad, the middle moderately curved inward; apical area divided into two lobes, dorsal lobe shorter ventral one, apex triangular; ventral lobe with apex rounded. Genitalia sclerotized, base broad, area near the middle constricted, apical area slightly broadened, roughly oval, posterior margin lightly concave. Subgenital plate with the middle broad, apical area tapering, posterior margin lightly concave. Styli short, apices rounded.

Coloration. Body green, eyes brown.

Female. Appearance is similar to that of male. Tenth abdominal tergite with posterior margin concave. Cercus conical, apex thin and acute. Ovipositor thin, moderately upcurved, apex acute. Subgenital plate broad and short, lateral corners slightly protruding backwards, forming one pair of triangular posterior processes, posterior margin between them arch-shaped concave.

Measurement (mm). Body: ♂ 6.5, ♀ 7.3–7.5; pronotum: ♂ 2.8–2.9, ♀ 2.7–2.8; tegmina: ♂ 3.8–4.0, ♀ 4.2–4.3; hind femora: ♂ 6.3–6.6, ♀ 7.3–7.4; ovipositor: 5.5–5.7.

Specimens examined. Holotype: ♂, Pianma, Lushui, Yunnan, 27 August, 2019, coll. Yanqing Li. Paratypes: 3♂ 3♀, other data same as holotype .

Discussion. The new species distinguishes from congeners in: male cercus with apical area divided into two lobes, dorsal lobe shorter than ventral one, apex triangular; ventral lobe with apex rounded; genitalia base broad, near the middle constricted, apical area slightly broadened, roughly oval, posterior margin lightly concave.

Etymology. The new species name is derived male genitalia morphology, Latin ovat - means oval.
