Comments: While the condition of I.C.Z.N. Article 23.9.1.1. applies, the conditions of Article 23.9.1.2. are not met, as Rhathymus versicolor has not been used in a sufficiently large number of works.

Augochloropsis (Augochloropsis) bari ( Dominique, 1898) NEW COMBINATION [ Halictidae : Augochlorini ] Augochlora bari Dominique, 1898:62 (Nantes: drawer 10194; Single female here designated lectotype).

Summary. We examined the valid names proposed by Jules Dominique for a collection of Neotropical bees from French Guiana. Lectotypes are designated to stabilize future use of the names and the following new synonymies are established: Melipona favosa ( Fabricius, 1798) = Melipona soror Dominique, 1898 ; Melipona fuliginosa Lepeletier de Saint Fargeau, 1835 = Melipona bomboides Dominique, 1898 ; Euglossa viridis Perty, 1833 = Euglossa affinis Dominique, 1898 ; Euglossa ignita Smith, 1874 = Euglossa bari Dominique, 1898 ; Euglossa cognata Moure, 1970 , nomen protectum = Euglossa bureaui Dominique, 1898 , nomen oblitum; Eulaema polyzona Mocsáry, 1897 = Eulaema maroniensis Dominique, 1898 ; Centris nitens Lepeletier de Saint Fargeau, 1841 = Centris dominiquella Dominique, 1898 ; Centris analis ( Fabricius, 1804) = Centris debilis Dominique, 1898 ; Centris insignis Smith, 1854 = Centris zonalis Dominique, 1898 ; Rhathymus insignis ( Dominique, 1898) = Rhathymus versicolor Friese, 1906 . Augochlora bari Dominique, 1898 is transferred to Augochloropsis bari ( Dominique, 1898) comb.n.
