Etymology. nigrofemorata , feminine adjective, from L. nigrum, black, and L. femur, leg, in reference to femur of each metathoracic leg black distally.
Diagnosis. Distal half of femur of each metathoracic leg black. Male genitalia: lateral angles of ventral rim of pygophore projected posteriorly; ventral rim with an acute process medially; head of each paramere quadrate, covering segment X basally; each posterolateral angle of segment X produced, acute apically. Female genitalia: posterior margins of gonocoxites 8 sinuate, somewhat reflexed; gonocoxites 9 swollen, strongly convex, higher in profile than gonocoxites 8.
Description. Meso- and metapleura mostly black, with yellow longitudinal stripe mesially; legs yellow, area surrounding each setae brown, distal half of femur of each metathoracic leg black; disc of scutellum black. Urosternites mostly black, castaneous on and around tubercle on urosternite III; lateral portion of each urosternite yellow, distal angle outlined in black. Inner margin of each connexival sclerite black, outer margin yellow. Proportion of antennal segments: I <II = III <IV = V.
Male genitalia. Pygophore globose, distal half depressed; posterolateral angles slightly developed. Inner wall of genital cup swollen, projected dorso-posteriorly ( Fig. 9 View FIGURES 9–12 ). Lateral angles of ventral rim projected posteriorly; ventral rim carinate with an acute process medially ( Fig. 10 View FIGURES 9–12 ). Parameres quadrate, covering segment X basally. Surface of segment X concave, distal margin with deep U-shaped notch; each posterolateral angle of segment X produced posteriorly, acute apically.
Female genitalia. Genital plates glabrous. Gonocoxites 8 wider than long; flat; sutural margins parallel; lateral margins straight; posterior margins sinuate, somewhat reflexed ( Fig. 11 View FIGURES 9–12 ). Posterior margin of each laterotergite 8 with short, acute projection; laterotergites 8 each bearing a spiracle. Gonocoxites 9 swollen, strongly convex, higher than gonocoxites 8. Laterotergites 9 swollen, acute apically, surpassing tergite VIII; laterotergites 9 tapering anteriorly; anterior angle of each laterotergite 9 attaining anterior margin of gonapophyses 9. Segment X partially covered by gonocoxites 9 and laterotergites 9. Gonapophyses 9 membranous; chitinellipsen elliptical; thickening of vaginal intima elongated ( Fig. 12 View FIGURES 9–12 ). Length of ductus receptaculli proximalis 1/3 of vesicular area; median duct of vesicular area sinuous basally; ductus receptaculli distalis as long as half-length of vesicular area; ductus receptaculli distalis convoluted distally. Capsula seminalis globose.
Measurements (mm). Total length, 5.14 ± 0.40 (4.70–5.53); length of head, 0.73 ± 0.07 (0.63–0.80); head length ahead of eyes, 0.36 ± 0.03 (0.30–0.40); interocular distance, 0.95 ± 0.06 (0.87–1.00); length of antennal segments: I, 0.28 ± 0.03 (0.23–0.33); II, 0.76 ± 0.09 (0.67–0.87); III, 0.73 ± 0.06 (0.67–0.83); IV, 1.23 ± 0.09 (1.13–1.37); V, 1.34 ± 0.08 (1.23–1.47); width of head, 0.77 ± 0.05 (0.70–0.83); width of pronotum, 3.59 ± 0.26 (3.20–3.83); length of pronotum, 1.32 ± 0.08 (1.23–1.43); width of scutellum, 2.36 ± 0.12 (2.13–2.50); length of scutellum, 2.32 ± 0.20 (2.07–2.53); width of abdomen at third segment, 3.84 ± 0.47 (3.17–4.20).
