Type material was not examined, nor the original paper. According to OSF, holotype is female specimen deposited in the Shaanxi Normal University collection.

Type locality: SE China: Guangdong: Fengkai.

Notes. The species was recently described, and year later assigned to the genus Falconius ( Deng 2016) . Deng (2016) writes that the species inhabits Guangdong and Hainan, but for the later provided no records. A female from Guangdong: Fengkai: Heishiding Nature Reserve. Furthermore, Deng (2016) reported that species has strong ventrolateral projection directed outwards with pointed spine at the apex, and the female has swollen distal segment of the hind tarsi. If that is so, the species belongs to the genus Falconius .
