Description. Holotype ( Fig. 9 View FIGURES 9, 10 ). MALE. Body 2.11 mm. LFW 1.43 mm.
Colour. Wings clear hyaline; scape, pedicel, palpi, wing venation, protibia, mesotibia, metatibia, tarsi light castaneous; head, flagellum, mandible, mesosoma , tegula, procoxa, mesocoxa, metacoxa, trochanters, profemur, mesofemur, metafemur, metasoma castaneous.
Head ( Fig. 11 View FIGURES 11 – 16 ). Head longer than wide, globoid [in lateral view]. Malar space shorter than VOL, parallel. Mandible with four sharpened apical teeth, equally wide in your extension; lower margin straight; lower tooth longer than immediately upper teeth, lower tooth wider than others. Clypeus with median lobe delimitated, angulate; lateral lobe present, shorter than median lobe, rounded; median clypeal carina inclined, complete, straight shape [in dorsal view], above torulus. Intertorular distance less than torulus diameter. Antenna with conspicuous pubescence, erect, sparse, medium; scape curved, with same diameter across extension; pedicel longer than wide, rectangular; first flagellomere as long as pedicel, as long as others; flagellomeres long, cylindrical shape; first five antennal segments in ratio of about 17:10:10:10:10. Frons weakly foveolate. Eye small, round, hairy, its contour slightly protuberant. Ocellar triangle compact, with frontal angle acute; composed by ocelli small; with ocellar fovea absent. Temple profile parallel, vertex convex, its corner rounded. Palpi caliciform, cylindrical. Hypostomal carina forming obtuse angle. Dorsal half of occipital carina present, high, with side foveolate; ventral half of occipital carina present, incomplete, low. LH 1.11 × WH. WF 1.47 × HE. WF 0.62 × WH. OOL 0.92 × WOT. VOL 0.74 × HE. Distance of posterior ocellus to vertex crest 2 × DAO.
Mesosoma ( Figs 12, 13 View FIGURES 11 – 16 ). Pronotal disc 0.66 × as long as wide; coriaceous; plate groove present, but incomplete; anterior slope inclined in profile; anterior margin convex, with transverse carina, with anterior corner rounded; trapezoidal shaped, with side straight; longitudinal pronotal furrow present, complete, shallow; posterior margin straight. Propleuron with epicoxal sulcus, shallow, polished. Pleurosternum without epicoxal sulcus. Mesoscutum coriaceous, long; longitudinal mesoscutal furrow absent; notaulus complete, convergent posteriorly, deep, narrow, polished; parapsidal furrow incomplete, weakly impressed, parallel. Scutellar groove narrow, fused with axila, arched, not dilated at ends; scutoscutellar sulcus inconspicuous; scutellum short, coriaceous, plane, not touching propodeal disc; axila polished, shallow. Metanotum overlapping lateral region of scutellum. Propodeal disc as long as half width, with central fovea fused with propodeal triangle fovea; median carina complete; without longitudinal ridge between median and inner discal carinae; spiracle elliptical; inner discal carina complete; sublateral carina absent; lateral carina absent; lateral margin sculpture followed by short striae; posterior carina complete; posterior spine of propodeum present, very short, thin, parallel. Declivity of propodeum coriaceous, with median carina, with lateral carina. Lateral surface of propodeum weakly strigate, without superior carina, without posterior carina. Mesopleuron coriaceous; mesopleural sulcus present, complete, foveolate; episternal furrow absent.
Wings. Macropterous. Tegula separated of mesoscutum. Fore wing with sparse pilosity; costal vein absent; with costal cell very narrow and longitudinally folded; median cell as long as submedian cell; basal vein straight; transverse median vein rounded; nebulous cubital vein absent; nebulous anal cubital vein absent; stigma subdeveloped, with distal margin truncate; radial vein slightly curved forward, giving raise at distal margin of stigma. Hind wing with costal vein long; with anal vein short; with one proximal hamuli; with three distal hamuli, evenly separated one from another.
Legs. Metacoxa without dorsal expansion, with ventral expansion. Protibia short [1.5× first tarsomere length], with protibial spur long [longer than half length of first tarsomere]. Tarsi with tarsomeres 1 longer than others, cylindrical; tarsal claw with two sharpened teeth, curved posterad; arolium simple, apex angled, and slender.
Metasoma. 1.41 × longer than wide; tergum 1 with ventral region coriaceous, without lap of lateral margin, without lateral pilosity; tergum 2 with dorsal region polished, without lateral pilosity, with ventral region polished; terga 3–6 with dorsal region polished, with ventral region polished; with posterior margin of tergites straight, with sparse setae at posterior margin of terga 2–6. Hypopygium ( Fig. 58 View FIGURES 57 – 66 ) wider than long; with hypopygial median stalk undivided; lateral margin parallel, and slightly convex; with posterior margin bilobate with median indentation, with lobate branch.
Genitalia ( Figs 71, 72 View FIGURES 67 – 78 ). Genital ring protruding dorsally, with distal margin rounded and emarginated. Basivolsella fully outlined from basiparamere, without hairs. Paramere fully divided into two arms; dorsal arm of paramere as long as ventral arm, club-shaped, and with basal margin as wide as apex; ventral arm of paramere slender, apex sparse hairy, inner margin straight. Cuspis birramous, with arms distinct; ventral arm surpassing dorsal arm apex, slender, and thick, with apex rounded; dorsal arm wide, and with apex rounded. Aedeagus slender; with pair of apical lobes, with apex not reaching paramere apex, lobes touching each other, with apical margin rounded, lateral of margin of basal portion slightly convex; apodeme divergent, with base straight.
FEMALE. Paratype ( Fig. 10 View FIGURES 9, 10 ). Body 3.96 mm. LFW 0.43 mm.
Colour. Head, scape, pedicel, mandible, palpi, mesosoma , tegula, procoxa, mesocoxa, metacoxa, trochanters, profemur, mesofemur, metafemur, protibia, mesotibia, metatibia and tarsi light castaneous; flagellum castaneous; metasoma castaneous with tergum 2 dark castaneous.

Clypeus with median lobe delimitated, angulate; lateral lobe present, shorter than median lobe, truncate; median clypeal carina inclined, complete, straight shape [in dorsal view], above torulus. Intertorular distance less than torulus diameter. Antenna with conspicuous pubescence, suberect, sparse, short; scape curved, thickening apicad; pedicel longer than wide, caliciform; first flagellomere shorter than pedicel, longer than others; flagellomeres short, cylindrical shape; first five antennal segments in ratio of about 33:12:9:7:7. Frons weakly foveolate. Eye small, round, hairy, its contour slightly protuberant. Ocellar triangle not compact, with frontal angle acute; composed by ocelli very small; with ocellar fovea present only in posterior ocelli, narrow. Temple profile divergent anterad, vertex convex, its corner rounded. Palpi caliciform, flattened. Hypostomal carina forming obtuse angle. Dorsal half of occipital carina present, low; ventral half of occipital carina present, complete, low. LH 1.06 × WH. WF 1.6 × HE. WF 0.61 × WH. OOL 1 × WOT. VOL 0.72 × HE. Distance of posterior ocellus to vertex crest 3.67 × DAO.
Mesosoma ( Figs 15, 16 View FIGURES 11 – 16 ). Pronotal disc 0.7 × as long as wide; coriaceous; plate groove present, but incomplete; anterior slope inclined in profile; anterior margin straight, with transverse carina, with anterior corner angled; trapezoidal shaped, with side straight; longitudinal pronotal furrow present, complete, shallow; posterior margin straight. Propleuron with epicoxal sulcus, shallow, polished. Pleurosternum without epicoxal sulcus. Mesoscutum coriaceous, short; longitudinal mesoscutal furrow absent; notaulus complete, convergent posteriorly, deep, narrow, polished; parapsidal furrow incomplete, weakly impressed, parallel. Scutellar groove narrow, fused with axilla, arched, not dilated at ends; scutoscutellar sulcus conspicuous; scutellum short, coriaceous, plane, touching propodeal disc; axilla polished, shallow. Metanotum overlapping lateral region of scutellum. Propodeal disc shorter than half width, with central fovea fused with propodeal triangle fovea; median carina complete; without longitudinal ridge between median and inner discal carinae; spiracle elliptical; inner discal carina complete; sublateral carina absent; lateral carina absent; lateral margin sculpture coriaceous; posterior carina complete; posterior spine of propodeum present, short, thick, parallel. Declivity of propodeum coriaceous, with median carina, without lateral carina. Lateral surface of propodeum strigate, without superior carina, without posterior carina. Mesopleuron weakly foveolate and strigate at episternal furrow region, with subtegular and subalar fovea wide and continuous with episternal furrow; mesopleural sulcus present, complete, foveolate; episternal furrow with inner margin striate.
Wings. Brachypterous. Tegula separated of mesoscutum. Fore wing with sparse pilosity.
Legs. Metacoxa without dorsal expansion, with ventral expansion. Protibia short [1.5× first tarsomere length], with protibial spur short [shorter than half length of first tarsomere]. Tarsi with tarsomeres 1 longer than others, cylindrical; tarsal claw with two sharpened teeth, curved posterad; arolium simple, apex angled, and large.
Metasoma. 2.63 × longer than wide; tergum 1 with ventral region coriaceous, with lap of lateral margin, with sparse lateral pilosity; tergum 2 with dorsal region polished, with sparse lateral pilosity, with ventral region polished; terga 3–6 with dorsal region polished, with ventral region polished; with posterior margin of tergites straight, with sparse setae at posterior margin of terga 2–6.
Variations. Body length 3.53–3.96 mm; fore wing length 0.36–0.46 mm. Head castaneous; mesosoma castaneous. Propodeum with propodeal disc with longitudinal ridge between median and inner discal carina; with lateral surface with posterior carina hardly distinct.
Remarks. This species is similar to Clytrovorus suarezi Móczár, 1984 by having the head longer than wide; the median clypeal lobe angulate, with clypeal carina inclined in profile; the mesoscutum and scutellum short; the scutellar groove narrow and arched; the propodeal disc without longitudinal ridge between median and inner discal carina; the mesopleural sulcus foveolate; brachypterous. However C. bara sp. nov. has the frons sparsely foveolate; the pronotum with anterior margin with transverse carina; the longitudinal pronotal furrow present; the propodeal disc with lateral carina absent, with the posterior carina not failed medially; the posterior spine of propodeum present, whereas C. suarezi has the frons coriaceous; the pronotum with anterior margin without transverse carina; the longitudinal pronotal furrow absent; the propodeal disc with lateral carina present, with the posterior carina failed medially; the posterior spine of propodeum absent.
