Gobrya syrphoides (HENDEL, 1913) – 2 males: Nantou Hsien, Shuili , forest undergrowth, September 30, 2000, leg. L. PAPP , No. 12 . 8 males 9 females: (1st label, printed): Formosa Sauter , (3rd label, with K. KERTÉSZ‘ s handwriting) “syrphoides Hend. ” det. KERTÉSZ, (2nd label) : 1 male: Kosempo 908. VI .; 1 male 3 females: Fuhosho 909. VII.; 1 male: Mt. Hoozan , 1910. V .; 1 male 1 female: Taihorin 1910. V ./1911. VII.; 2 males: Koshun 909. III .; 2 males 2 females: Suisharyo 1911. X.; (1st label) 1 female (without head): Formosa Toyenmongai ; 1 female: Kankau 1912. IV. The last two specimens are without the name of SAUTER but obviously from his collecting.
In the collection of the HNHM there are 4 males and 2 females of Gobrya cyanea ENDERLEIN, 1920 , which were kept above a label “spec.nov.": N.- Guinea Biró 1910. – Stephansort Astrolabe Bai [reverse side] “IV. 7.” Indeed, they belong to a species, which was described after the time, when K. KERTÉSZ identified the acalyptrates from H. SAUTER‘ s collection .
