Diagnosis. Adult ( Fig. 8 View FIGURES 8 – 13 ) with wingspan 20.0 – 30.5 mm. This species is characterized by the sella ventrally directed and apically far exceeding the ventral margin of the valva in the male genitalia ( Fig. 17 View FIGURES 14 – 17 ), and the narrow antrum with setae on the straight posterior margin, and the horn-shaped membranous sacs from between the antrum and the ductus bursae curved backward in the female genitalia ( Fig. 24 View FIGURES 21 – 26 ).
Host plants. Phyllostachys bambusoides Sieb. et Zucc. , P. nigra var. henonis Stape , P. pubescens Mazel , P. nigra Munro ( Kim & Lee, 1986) .
Distribution. China (Gansu, Guangdong, Guizhou, Hebei, Hubei, Heilongjiang, Jiangsu, Liaoning, Ningxia, Shanxi, Sichuan), Korea, Japan, Russia (Ussuri), Europe.
Ecology. Caught in lowland from 430 m to 700 m, in mountains from 800 m to 2600 m. Flight period from end of May to early October.
