Eudorella setoensis Akiyama & Gamô, 2006 View in CoL
Eudrella setoensis Akiyama & Gamô, 2006: 39 View in CoL –45, figs, 1–3
Material examined. 1 ovigerous female 4.0 mm, 1 preparatory female, 3.9 mm, 1 adult male, 2.9 mm, 1 subadult male, 2.8 mm, 1 juvenile, 1.68 mm (NSMT-Cr 22165), Aki Nada, the Seto Inland Sea of Japan, 34°09.09´N, 132°35.58´E – 34°09.00´N, 132°35.78´E, 19–21 m, (TY06, St-1), 26 June, 2006.
Remarks. The female specimens are closely similar to Japanese specimens of Eudorella orientalis sp. nov. from Japan, but are distinguished from the latter species by (1) the carapace bearing three setae on each side, behind the frontal lobe (four setae in E. orientalis ), (2) the side plate of pereonites 2 and 3 in ovigerous females well developed (not well developed in E. orientalis ), (3) uropod exopod has 2 setae on the dorsal surface (3–6 setae on E. orientalis ). In males the flagellum of antenna 2 is unusually short (normal in E. orientalis ), and the uropod endopod is elongate, near 2 times peduncle (1.2–1.4 times in E. orientalis ).
Distribution. The Seto Inland Sea of Japan, 5– 21 m.
