Neotype (Crosswhite in Taxon 17: 49-50. 1968): Herb. Linn. No. 765.2 ( LINN) .

Current name: Penstemon laevigatus Sol. View in CoL ( Scrophulariaceae ).

Note: In the absence of any original material, Crosswhite’s designation of 765.2 (LINN) as lectotype is accepted as correctable to neotype (Art. 9.8).
