Leg І 24 (24–26), femur 8 (8–10), basiventral femoral seta (bv) 10 (10–11); genu 3 (3–4), antaxial genual seta (l ') 5 (5–6); tibia 5 (5–6); tarsus 6 (6–7), seta ft ' 5 (5–6), seta ft ' 23 (20–23), seta u ' 5 (4–5); tarsal empodium (em) 6 (6–7), simple, 7-rayed, tarsal solenidion (ω) 7 (7–8), slightly knobbed. Opisthosoma: dorsally with 24 (23–24) annuli, smooth, ventrally with 55 (55–57) annuli, with round microtubercles on rear annular margins. Type material. Holotype, female (slide number NJAUAcariEriH16, marked Holotype), from Lespedeza sp. 2008 , coll. Xiao-Feng Xue, Zhen Wang & Zi-Wei Song. Paratypes, 5 females (slide number NJAUAcariEriH16), with the same data as holotype .
Relation to host. Vagrant on leaf surface. No damage to the host was observed.
Etymology. The specific designation jiagedaqia is from Jiagedaqi (place name, where the new species was collected) adding - a as a suffix.
Differential diagnosis. This species is similar to Tetra formosae Xue & Hong, 2005c , from Lespedeza formosa (Vog.) Koehne (Fabaceae) , but can be differentiated from the latter by dorsal annuli smooth (dorsal annuli with microtubercles in T. formosae ), median and submedian lines absent (median and submedian lines present in T. formosae ) and anterior shield lobe with a spine (anterior shield lobe without spine in T. formosae ).
