Kurz (1873) published Millettia pubinervis and cited only a locality (Martaban). Dunn (1912) and Adema (2000) indicated Kurz 1778 as the type of M. pubinervis , but they did not specify a herbarium. We traced three duplicates of this collection, all of which should be considered as syntypes (see Art. 7.11 and Art. 40 Ex. 3, Turland et al. 2018). One of them (K000848733) is designated here as the lectotype of M. pubinervis . The protologue of M. decipiens listed three collectors (Scortechini, Wray, Ridley) without citing collecting numbers ( Prain 1897). Subsequently, Scortechini 1749 (without a herbarium) was indicated by Dunn (1912) as type. But Adema (2000) provided different type information for M. decipiens [“Type: Scortechini 1747 (holo K; iso A, K)”]. We checked the two collections and found that all five sheets of Scortechini 1749 [BM, CAL (2), K (2)] and two of Scortechini 1747 (A00073552, K000848759) belong to M. decipiens , but another of Scortechini 1747 (E00203612) represents M. sericea . We designated the specimen (Scortechini 1749, K000848760) as the second-step lectotype of M. decipiens (see Art. 9.17 Ex. 14). For the name Pongamia dehiscens, Koorders & Valeton (1895) published it based on material collected by S. H. Koorders. Adema (2000) designated Koorders 4105 (L) as the lectotype of P. dehiscens . In the herbarium L, there are thee duplicates of this gathering, all of which should be syntypes (see Art. 40.2 Ex. 3). We designate one of them (L0064654) as the second-step lectotype of P. dehiscens . The original material of the name Millettia hemsleyana includes two gatherings, viz. Wray 3310, 3608 ( Prain 1897), of which the former was indicated by Dunn (1912) as type. Lôc & Vidal (2001) designated Wray 3310 (K) as lectotype. There are two duplicates of Wray 3310 in the herbarium K, and we designate one of them (K000848757) as the second-step lectotype of M. hemsleyana . The protologue of M. nana just cited Pierre 1020 ( Gagnepain 1913). Lôc & Vidal (2001) indicated Pierre 1020 (holo- P) as type, but there are five duplicates of the collection in P, all of which are syntypes of M. nana . The specimen (Pierre 1020, P 02141875) with a drawing of a dissected flower is designated here as the lectotype of M. nana . We found that the original material of M. fallax includes at least four specimens of A. F. G. Kerr 3163 [BM, K (2), TCD]. Lôc & Vidal (2001) provided the type information [“Type: Kerr 3163, Thaïlande (holo-, K!)”], but this typification was not effective (see Art. 7.11, Art. 9.10 Ex. 11, and Art. 40.2 Ex. 3). We designated one of them (K000848780) as the lectotype of M. fallax .
