Notes

Scybalocanthon is a widespread genus occurring in South and Central America ( Pereira and Martínez 1956, Silva and Valois 2019). The genus comprises 24 valid species, most of which are diurnal and inhabit either moist or dry forests in the Amazon Region, Atlantic Rainforest and the Yungas ( Silva and Valois 2019, Silva and Génier 2019). Only the species Scybalocanthon sp. 1 was reported to the Carajás region.
