Description. Natural coloration and shape slightly distorted after removal from alcohol and drying. Vertex, anterior margin of pronotum and mesonotum ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1. a – e l) sordid orange, hind part of pronotum dark, face ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1. a – e m) light brownish-yellow, upper part of midline sordid orange, anteclypeus pale. Forewing ( Figs 1 View FIGURE 1. a – e j, k) transparent, veins brown.
Male 2S abdominal apodemes ( Fig. 4 View FIGURE 4 a) extended to midlength of fourth sternite. Anal tube appendage ( Fig. 4 View FIGURE 4 c) hooked, curved ventrad.
Pygofer side ( Fig. 4 View FIGURE 4 b) with numerous fine setae; pygofer dorsal appendage triangular, ventral appendage long and bent. Subgenital plate ( Fig. 4 View FIGURE 4 f) with about 3 macrosetae at subapical angle, compressed apical part relatively long. Style ( Fig. 4 View FIGURE 4 g) straight apically, preapical lobe relatively large. Connective ( Fig. 4 View FIGURE 4 h) narrow, distinctly keeled along midline. Aedeagal shaft ( Figs 4 View FIGURE 4 i, j) almost straight, preatrium sinuated in side view.
Measurement. Male length 3.3mm.
Material examined. Holotype: 3, THAILAND, Phetchabun, Nam Nao NP Pine forest/Sambon 1, 16°42.47'N, 101°35.26‘E, 872m, Malaise trap, 16–23. x. 2006, coll. Noopean Hongyothi. Paratype: 3, THAILAND, Loei, Phu Ruea NP Suan Hin Pali, 17°29.86'N, 101°20.55'E, 1178m, Malaise trap, 5–12. iv. 2007, coll. Patikhom Tumtip.
Deposition. Holotype is housed in the Queen Sirikit Botanical Garden, Chiang Mai, Thailand; paratype in Illinois Natural History Survey, Champaign, USA.
Diagnosis. Color pattern and body size similar to T. versicolor sp. nov., but genital capsule and proportion of aedeagus much larger, anal tube appendage hooked, style straight apically, aedeagal shaft straight.
Etymology. This new specific epithet is derived from the Latin word “ rectilineus ” in view of the straight apical part of style.
