( Figs 60 View FIGURES 56 – 61 , 140 View FIGURES 138 – 140 )
Host-plant. Acer platanoides L. in the Crimea, as in other regions.
Type of distribution (chorological group). Euro-Nemoral; the species is widespread in Europe (except the southern regions), also recorded in North America ( Canada: Ontario; USA: Connecticut, New York) ( Wilkinson & Scoble 1979).
Material examined. CRIMEA: 1♂, 2♀, 23 km S Simferopol, near Angarskij Pereval, mining larva on Acer platanoides L., fieldwork card no. 5049, 22.vii.2011, leg. A. Diškus, genitalia slide no. AN 494♂.
Remarks. The species is rare in the Crimea: highly limited in distribution (occurs at higher elevations and in shady forests), not abundant mining.
