COMMENT: KFK finds the case for considering Idionycteris a separate genus ( Williams et al., 1970, J. Mammal., 51:602-606) unconvincing and is inclined to retain it in Plecotus ; also see Handley, 1959, Proc. U.S. Nat. Mus., 112:459-479.
