Diagnosis: Largest species differing from both other new species by the long lobulately produced deltg VII reaching far beyond paratergites VIII in both sexes.
Description: Male, micropterous.
Head: Distinctly longer than wide across eyes (27/22); genae produced over clypeus, apex acute; antennae 3.70 x as long as width of head across eyes (81.5/22); length of antennal segments I/II/III/IV = 31/ 11/31/8.5; postocular tubercle horizontally produced with acute apex, vertex with 2 (1+1) deep longitudinal furrows flanked by a stripe of setae.
Thorax: Pronotum 2.5x as wide as long at middle, anterior margin deeply excavated medially, laterally carinate; lateral margins bilobate, anterior lobe produced and larger, posterior one smaller and shorter (fig. 47), disk with 2 (1+1) flat ovate smooth callosities, densely pilose elsewhere, posterior margin slightly convex.
Mesonotum, Scutellum triangular, 3.8x as wide as long, sinuate lateral margins carinate, yellowish pilosity covering the anterolateral margins and a median longitudinal stripe on disk; corium reduced to small sclerites, lateral margins with two projections, inner posterior margin with small vestige of a membrane.
Metanotum fused to tergite I consisting of 2 (1+1) large ovate plates connected posteromedially, their disk with a deep furrow, posteriorly fused to tergite II but separated by a sinuate suture; tergite II with an ovate depression at middle, posterior margin bisinuate.
Abdomen: Tergal plat flat with slightly elevated posteriorly displaced scent gland II and sinuate depressions marking the apodemal impressions; lateral margins of deltg II concave, straight of deltg III, sinuate of deltg IV and V, their pe-angles distinctly angularly produced on deltg II and III, small and rounded on deltg IV and V and larger with rounded apex on deltg VI; tergite VII lobulately produced posteriorly, pygophore rounded, paratergites clavate and produced over pygophore reaching about ½ of lateral lobe of tergite VII.
Legs: Long and slender, femora and tibiae straight and cylindrical.
Genitalic structures: Pygophore globular, dorsal oval sclerite slightly produced posteriorly (figs. 44, 47), paramere of triangular outline (figs. 41–44).
Female: Basically as male but of larger size and wider abdomen; pe-angles of deltg IV and V more produced than in male; lateral projections of tergite VIII clavate, twice as slong as tricuspidate tergites IX and X.
Measurements: Holotype ♂: Length 13.6mm; width of abdomen across tergite II 65, VI 54, VII 45; variation of legth of two males: 11.8 mm, 13.7 mm; ratio length of antennae / width of head 3.21, 3.64. Females: Length: 13.6, 14.0, 14.2, 14.9 mm; head length / width 26/23, 27/23.5, 27/23, 28/24.5; pronotum w/ l 48/14, 42/17, 42/16, 44/17; w/l scutellum w/l 48/14, 52/15, 52/14, 55/15; length of antennal segments I/II/ III/IV = 25/11/28/9, 27/11/28/8, 33/12/31/8.5, 30/12/30/8; ratio length of antennae 3.17,3.15, 3.67, 3.26; width of abdomen across tergite III 73, 78, 73, 77.
Etymology: Refers to the main distribution area of this new taxon.
Remarks: The lobes of tergite VII of both specimens from Yunnan are shorter than those from Vietnam: however, as they share all essential characters with the latter they are regarded as conspecific.
