Remarks: Curiously, Neale (1964: 286) reported the distribution of Sphaeromicola (= Sphaeromicolinae ) as southern Europe, Mexico, and Africa. The only entocytherid that has been reported from Africa is the microsyssistrine Microsyssitria nhlabane , described in 1984.
