Comment: original vernacular name available (Art. 11.7.2): first used in latinized form by Boucomont (1911: 333, as Bolbocerinae [inco rrect stem formation]), generally accepted as in A. B. T. Smith (2006: 148, as Bolboceratini ); concept of Bolboceras Kirby, 1819 fixed by the Commission (ICZN 2006a); incorrect original stem formation, not in prevailing usage.
