Replaced synonym of: Chrysanthemum millefoliatum L. (1767) , nom. illeg.

Lectotype (Humphries in Jarvis & Turland in Taxon 47: 352. 1998): Gerber, Herb. Linn. No. 1012.22 ( LINN) .

Current name: Tanacetum millefolium (L.) Tzvelev View in CoL View at ENA ( Asteraceae ).

Note: Although Tzvelev (in Schischkin & Bobrov, Fl. U.R.S.S. 26: 349. 1961) stated that the cited Gmelin drawing was “probably” the type specimen, this is not accepted as a formal type choice (Art. 7.11).
