Length of body 4.1–5.4 mm, of fore wing 4.7–5.5 mm and of antenna 6–7 mm.
Antenna with 42 flagellomeres. Terminal flagellomere pointed, barely accuminate. Median flagellomeres slightly wider than long. Occipital carina complete but weak mediodorsally where it is slightly bulging anteriorly, ventrally obliterated well before hypostomal carina. Mesopleuron glossy, largely with deep punctures at bases of seae, foveate-rugose anterodorsally, precoxal sulcus moderately deep, narrow, rugose, speculum enormous. Propodeum with midlongitudinal carina on anterior 0.6 only. Fore wing vein 2-CU1 1.7 x 1-CU1. Apex of fore wing subbasal cell evenly setose. Fore wing vein 3-SR 3.36 x vein r. Fore wing vein 2- SR+M 1.4 x vein r. Fore wing vein SR1 2.3 x vein 3-SR. Hind wing vein M+CU 1.2 x 1-M. Hind wing subbasal cell glabrous on anterior half. Hind wing vein m-cu well-developed, pigmented, tubular at base, antefurcal. Apex of hind tibia without comb of modified adpressed setae. Claws with approximately 4 pectinal teeth basally. Basal lobes of 1 st tergite weakly produced, rounded. Midlongitudinal carina of 3 rd tergite absent.
Etymology. Named after Miss Georgia Coulson.
Notes. Of the ‘ Chelonorogas ’ species described from China, only A. coronarius Chen & He and A. latericarinus Chen & He have a white antennal stripe. The latter differs from A. georgiae sp. nov. in having fore wing vein 1-CU1 about as long as 2-CU1.
