Body length 5.6 mm, fore wing length 4.0 mm and antenna length 7.0 mm.

Antenna with 48 (♀) to 54 (♂) flagellomeres. Terminal flagellomere pointed hardly acuminate. Frons with curved ridges radiating from antennal sockets, converging at midlinne forming an angle of approximately 90 degrees with those from the opposite antennal socket. Occipital carina complete, dorsally rounded, ventrally slightly reduced but joining hypostomal carina. Mesopleuron shiny, moderately densely punctate, dorsally with strong longitudinally striate sculpture, precoxal sulcus deep, narrow with approximately 5 short vertical carinae, episternal scrobe moderately large and deep, specular area not differentiated, punctate. Midlongitudinal carina of propodeum present on anerior 0.5 of propodeum only. Fore wing vein 2-CU1 2.05 x 1-CU1. Apex of fore wing subbasal cell evenly setose. Fore wing vein 3-SR 2 x vein r. Fore wing vein 2-SR+M 0.6 x vein r. Fore wing vein SR1 2.25 x vein 3-SR. Hind wing vein M+CU 0.9 x 1-M. Hind wing subbasal cell glabrous on anterior half. Hind wing vein m-cu absent. Apex of hind tibia without comb of modified adpressed setae. Claws without conspicuous pecten. Basal lobes of 1 st tergite very large, convex anteriorly, steeply concave posterorly. Midlongitudinal carina of 3 rd tergite absent.

Antenna brown yellow basally becoming black gradually, with flagellomeres 28–36 (♀) or 32–39 (♂) white.

Etymology. In reference to its close relationship to A. coronarius .

Notes. Excluded from type series, 1 ♂, Dec-29-2006, Thailand, Chiang Mai Province, Doi Inthanon National Park, Summit forest , 18° 35.361’ N, 98° 29.157’ E, 2500m, Y Areeluck (voucher BCLDQ00172, Genbank JQ388339 View Materials ) ( QSBG), which unlike other males has the white antennal stripe occupying articles 32–39, and with 54 flagellomeres, has the mesoscutum entirely rufous, and has 2 nd hind tarsal article entirely white GoogleMaps .
