Holotype ♂, Thailand, Chiang Mai Province, Hua Hong Krai , 19.iii.2008, light trap, R. Butcher (no sequence data) ( CUMZ).

Body length (corrected) 4.8 mm, fore wing length 4.0 mm and antenna length 5.1 mm.

Antenna with 41 flagellomeres. Terminal flagellomere pointed. Median flagellomeres 2.5 x longer laterally tha wide. Occipital carina complete, mediodorsally evenly rounded.Mesopleuron largely densely punctate with some rugulose sculpture anteriorly, precoxal sulcus moderately impressed, more coarsely rugulose anteriorly, speculum absent. Midlongitudinal propodeal carina complete but irregular posteriorly where it meets a semicircular transverse carina. Fore wing vein 2-CU1 2.7 x 1-CU1. Apex of fore wing subbasal cell evenly setose. Fore wing vein 3-SR 1.9 x vein r. Fore wing vein 2-SR+M 0.8 x vein r. Fore wing vein SR1 2.7 x vein 3-SR. Hind wing vein M+CU 2.15 x 1-M. Hind wing vein m-cu moderately developed as pale pigmented wing fold, subtubular at base, antefurcal. Apex of hind tibia without comb of modified adpressed setae. Claws without conspicuous pecten. Basal lobes of 1 st tergite large, angular and strongly concave posteriorly. Midlongitudinal carina of 3 rd tergite not or hardly differentiated from other longitudinal striation.

Etymology. Namd after the werewolf character Angua in the Terry Pratchett Discworld novels.
