Holotype ♀, Thailand, Chiang Mai Province, Doi Inthanon NP, Kew Maepan Trail , 16.ii.2007, 18° 33.162’ N, 98° 28.210’ E, 2200m, A. Areeluk (voucher BCLDQ01060, Genbank JQ388371 ) ( QSBG).

Paratype: ♂, Thailand, Phetchabun Province, Thung Salaeng Luang National Park, pine forest Gang Wang Nan Yen , 21.12.2002, 16° 36.284’ N, 100° 53.128’ E, Pongpitak and Sathit (voucher BCLDQ00755, Genbank JQ388396 ) ( QSBG) .

Length of body 4.8 mm, of fore wing 4.2 mm and of antenna 5.4 mm.

Antenna with 37 flagellomeres. Terminal flagellomere elongate, weaklu acuminate. Median flagellomeres 2.2 x longer than wide. Occipital carina broadly absent mediodorsally, ventrally joining hypostomal carina. Mesopleuron largely aciculate, anteriorly and dorsally rugose, precoxal sulcus rather strongly impressed, strongly rugose, specular area entirely aciculate. Propodeum with complete midlongitudinal carina. Fore wing vein 2-CU1 1.1 x 1-CU1. Apex of fore wing subbasal cell evenly setose. Fore wing vein 3-SR 2.75 x vein r. Fore wing vein 2-SR+M 1.25 x vein r. Fore wing vein SR1 2.2 x vein 3-SR. Hind wing vein M+CU 1.3 x 1-M. Hind wing subbasal cell evenly setose. Hind wing vein m-cu absent though location indicated by small angulation near base of vein 2-M. Apex of hind tibia without comb of modified adpressed setae. Claws without conspicuous pecten. Basal lobes of 1 st tergite very weak, rounded. Midlongitudinal carina of 3 rd tergite distinct and complete.

Etymology. In reference to the slightly but distinctly posterolaterally emarginate fourth metasomal tergite.
