Body length 3.5 mm, fore wing length 3.4 mm and antenna length 4.4 mm.
Antenna with 35 flagellomeres. Terminal flagellomere acuminate. Median flagellomeres 2.2 x longer than wide. Frons without sublateral carina near eye. Occipital carina complete, forming a weak point medially, ventrally joininghypostomal carina. Mesopleuron aciculate, precoxal sulcus moderately deep, narrow, strongly vertically striate, speculum huge. Propodeum with midlongitudinal carina on anterior 0.9, irregular posteriorly. Fore wing vein 2-CU1 2.45 x 1-CU1. Apex of fore wing subbasal cell evenly setose. Fore wing vein 3-SR 2 x vein r. Fore wing vein 2-SR+M 1.05 x vein r. Fore wing vein SR1 2.4 x vein 3-SR. Hind wing vein M+CU 1.2 x 1-M. Hind wing subbasal cell evenly setose. Hind wing vein m-cu weak, interstitial. Apex of hind tibia without comb of modified setae medially. Claws with pecten of 7 or 8 long, fine, pale brown teeth on basal lobe, these splaying and distinctly separated, and the penultimate ones slightly longer. Basal lobes of 1 st tergite very weak, rounded. Midlongitudinal carina of 3 rd tergite barely distinguishable on anterior 0.7.
Etymology. In reference to the nearly rectangular enclosed pale mark on metasomal tergite 2.
Notes. Molecular data only available for holotype. Paratypes morphologically extremely similar but varying in amount of dark coloration on head and mesosoma. Keyed out in two places because hind coxa rather intermediate with weak, fine ridges dorsally on basal part that might be hard to see.
