Body length 4.7 mm, fore wing length 4.0 mm and antenna length 5.7 mm.

Antenna with 47 flagellomeres. Occipital carina somewhat irregular, distinctly absent mediodorsally. Mesopleuron anteriorly rugulose, dorsally strongly longitudinally striate, posteriorly becoming aciculate, precoxal sulcus moderatekly impressed, strongly rugose aneriorly, speculum present. Midlongitudinal propodeal carina complete. Fore wing vein 2-CU1 1.05 x 1-CU1. Apex of fore wing subbasal cell with distinct glabrous lozengeshaped zone. Fore wing vein 3-SR 2.5 x vein r. Fore wing vein 2-SR+M 1.1 x vein r. Fore wing vein SR1 2.2 x vein 3-SR. Hind wing vein M+CU 1.5 x 1-M. Hind wing vein M+CU virtually straight. Hind wing subbasal cell evenly setose. Hind wing vein m-cu weakly indicated, antefurcal. Apex of hind tibia with comb of specialised adpressed setae. Claws with pecten of long fine teath, the distal ones diverging. Basal lobes of 1 st tergite rather weakly protruding, concave posteriorly. Third tergite with midlongitudinal carina distinct.

Etymology. Named after the character Death’s servant Alberto Malich (Albert) in the in Terry Pratchett’s Discworld novels.
