Body length 6.1 mm, fore wing length 4.9 mm and antenna length approximately 8.0 mm.

Antenna incomplete, with at least 52 flagellomeres. Median flagellomeres approximately 1.5 x longer than wide. Occipital carina complete, joining hypostomal carina ventrally. Mesopleuron largely rugulose-coriaceous, posteriorly becoming aciculate, precoxal sulcus moderately impressed with coarser rugose sculpture, speculum large. Midlongitudinal propodeal carina complete. Fore wing vein 2-CU1 1.5 x 1-CU1. Apex of fore wing subbasal cell with distinct glabrous lozenge-shaped zone. Fore wing vein 3-SR 0.95 x vein r. Fore wing vein 2-SR+M 0.75 x vein r. Fore wing vein SR1 2.85 x vein 3-SR. Hind wing vein M+CU 1.4 x 1-M. Hind wing subbasal cell evenly setose. Hind wing vein m-cu well developed, dark brown, straight, reclivous, antefurcal. Apex of hind tibia with medial and ventral combs of adpressed setae. Claws with line of adpressed pectinal teeth. Basal lobes of 1 st tergite small, angular, steeply concave posteriorly. 3 rd tergite without midlongitudinal carina.

Antennae black basally gradually becoming ivory white approximately between flagellomeres 30 and 45. Etymology. In reference to its close relationship to A. songsi sp. nov.
