Material examined. 1 3, Vatousa, 5.vi.2010, leg. S.M. Hewitt; 1 3, near Vatousa, 7.vi.2010, leg. G. Wilkinson [ NMS]; 1 3, Skatchori, aspen site, 5.vi.2010, leg. Kenn Watt [KW]; 1 Ƥ, W of Periovolis Monastery, 39°14´36.8˝ N 26°0´22.9˝E, hovering around Spanish broom bushes at edge of a bend in the road not far from Periovolis Monastery, 5.vi.2010, leg. R.M. Lyszkowski [RL].
Notes. These specimens represent the first record of this species since the original description. It has only been recorded in Azerbaijan and Turkey. The identity of this species was confirmed by examination of the male genitalia. The female specimen keys out to M. trojana in Reemer et al. (2005), but separation of females is difficult. Larva undescribed.
