Type Locality: Paraguay, Chaco, 48 km north of Concepcion.
Vernacular Names: White-coated Titi.
Distribution: Paraguay, W of Rio Paraguay to about 23°S and 61°30’W in Gran Chaco; Mato Grosso do Sul, in the Pantanal ( Brazil); probably Bolivia (see Anderson, 1997).
Conservation: CITES – Appendix II; IUCN – Lower Risk (lc).
Discussion: Subgenus Callicebus . C. donacophilus species group. Separated from C. donacophilus by Groves (2001 c:172) and van Roosmalen et al. (2002).
