Chinattus Logunov, 1999 View in CoL View at ENA
Type species: Heliophanus undulatus Song et Chai, 1992 , by the original designation ( Logunov 1999).
Diagnosis and definition. Of the other hasariine genera (sensu Maddison 2015), Chinattus can be readily separated by the presence of the round internal structure of the epigyne, which is a modified epigynal pocket ( Figs 5 View FIGURES 1–5 , 26 View FIGURES 23–28 ) and the prominent glandular ducts ( Figs 12 View FIGURES 6–12 , 27, 28 View FIGURES 23–28 ), which are poorly-developed or invisible in other genera, and the arrangement of the insemination ducts (transversely in Chinattus , and longitudinally in the others); see Metzner (2021) for comparative figures, and Logunov (1999a), Edwards (2003) and Suguro (2014) for further details.
