Description of Cobetia amphilecti KM 2
Cells are Gram-staining-negative, flagellated, non-pigmented and rod-shaped. Colonies are transparent, shiny and white-colored after 2 days of incubation on R2A at 25°C. Positive for β -galactosidase, but negative for arginine dihydrolase, cytochrome oxidase, esculin hydrolysis, gelatinase, glucose fermentation, indole production, nitrates reduction and urease in API 20NE test. Strain KM2 (= NIBRBAC000498040) has been isolated from sea water sample, Jeju, Jeju-do, Korea.
