Distribution. A— Piauí (new record), Ceará (new record), Rio Grande do Norte, Paraíba, Pernambuco, and Bahia.

Remarks. Despite being listed as occurring exclusively on the Caatinga, recently the first author (AMM) collected some specimens of D. caatinguensis in northwestern Bahia state, which corresponds to an ecotone between the Caatinga and the Cerrado biome ( IBGE 2023).
