Material examined. Brazil: Piauí — Caracol, SCNP, Estrada no parque prox. Povoado Capim ; 9°12'51.6"S, 43°29'48"W; 16/II/2020; Sweep net; 1♀ (MZSPHEM0013255); Alves AA leg. Ceará — Aiuaba, AES, Estrada, ao lago do brejo; 6°41'31.2"S, 40°11'13.1"W; alt. 486 m; 04/VI/2021; Sweep net; 1♂ (MZSPHEM0013254); Freitas GoogleMaps AS leg.
Distribution. A— Piauí (new record) and Ceará (new record). B— Mato Grosso, Bahia, and Minas Gerais. Rolston (1973) did not mention the exact locality in Bahia state, making it impossible to ascertain whether the record is in the Atlantic Rain Forest or in the Caatinga. Therefore, we consider Ceará and Piauí as the first confirmed records for the Caatinga region.
