Aneucamptus crassus (Sharp, 1876)
First Record for the State of Puebla ( Fig. 1a View Fig ). “ Mexico: Puebla , Honey , Chila de Juárez, San Marcos river, 20°17ʹ40.3ʹʹN, 98°13ʹ36.6ʹʹW, 1500 m, cloud forest, interception fly trap, 8 to 15-VIII-2019, J. D. Silva, R. Ramírez and J. Márquez cols.” (1♂) .
Previous Records. Mexico: Chiapas and Hidalgo (both states without locality data; Fig. 1a View Fig ); Belize, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, Venezuela, Peru, Bolivia, Brazil, Trinidad and Argentina ( Irmler 1985; Navarrete-Heredia et al. 2002; Newton 2019).
Biogeographic Comment. This species shows a Neotropical distribution, and even with minimal distributional data for Mexico ( Fig. 1a View Fig ) we think this species can follow the typical Neotropical cenocron proposed by Morrone (2015) and the typical Neotropical distributional pattern proposed by Halffter (2017).
