Note: A nomen novum in Schoenus for Scirpus glomeratus Linnaeus (1753) , the epithet being pre-occupied by Schoenus glomeratus L. (1753) . Linnaeus erroneously cited the basionym as " Schoenus glomeratus . Spec. plant. (edit. 1.) 52.". However, the page number is correct for Scirpus glomeratus , and the same name is included on p. 82 of Systema Vegetabilium, ed. 13 (species No. 11). The application of this name is uncertain.
