Other distribution: Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia (Sumatera), Malaysia (E. & W.). (3)
Biology: Like all species of Cryptoxyleborus with known host trees, the species attacks only trees of the family Dipterocarpaceae ( Beaver & Hulcr 2008) . The gallery system consists of an unbranched entrance tunnel leading to a single terminal brood chamber enlarged in the longitudinal plane ( Browne 1961a).
